All groups are catered for, from 6 years old onwards. The primary course is aimed at Key Stage 2 children but courses are also offered to adult groups.
Trained volunteers, police and fire officers guide groups of up to 6 around the centre and ensure that key messages are delivered in a fun and interesting way.
Sessions last approximately 2 hours and we can cater for a maximum group size of 40 (dependant upon group/course content) at any one time. The minimum number is 12.
Resource packs are available, on paper or CD, to enable Key stage 2 teachers to do follow up work after the visit.
Many organisations use the centre for training staff, including the Fire Brigade, Social Services, Police and Health & Safety. Prices can be obtained for the use of the whole centre for training.
The cost per person for a group visit is still only £2.50

We will agree a provisional date for your visit and send you a booking form for you to fill in and return, confirming your visit.
Bookings need to be made at least 3 - 4 weeks in advance and the earlier you book the more likely we can accommodate your preferred date. Some bookings are made up to 6 months in advance
